ABOUT
HOLD depicts a dog carrying a glowing LED tube. It is inspired by my own dog Snoop and the light he brings into my life.
Light is a symbol for care and attention, something held, protected, and shared between us.
HOLD can be seen as an object inbetween sculpture and function.
It emits light, but it is the act of holding that is the true meaning.

CUSTOM WORKS
In addition to limited editions, i create custom sculptural work made on order for individual pets. Each piece is developed through dialogue and produced as a one-of-a-kind object.
PROCESS
Each piece is produced through slow additive manufacturing and finished by hand.
HOLD can be ordererd as it is, or customized to represent the customers personal pet, with or without LED light.
I strive to capture each individual animals beauty and unique expression. The process takes time, intentionally.
Material, form, and surface are treated with equal care.
No piece is rushed.
No piece is exactly the same.
