ABOUT HOLD
HOLD depicts a dog carrying a glowing LED tube.
The gesture is calm and restrained, yet charged with meaning.
This specific piece is inspired by the artist’s own dog, Snoop. The work reflects the light he brings into her life translated into a physical object.
Light becomes a symbol for care and attention, something held, protected, and shared within a home.

The object exists between sculpture and function.
It emits light, but it is the act of holding that defines it.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

My work explores the space between functional objects and sculptural presence.

Much of my work is inspired by my dog Snoop; my italian greyhound whose presence has brought light into my daily life as well as reignited my creative process.

Through physical objects, I try to manifest the bond between humans and their pet. Inspired by the light, energy, and presence that they hold in space.
