An illuminated artefact, inspired by Japanese mythology and fossilized sea urchins.

Yūkō means “ghostly glow” in Japanese. Yuko is a small luminous object inspired by fossilized sea urchins and Japanese forest spirits.
Nature has a way of creating calm through variety, where each shape coexists in quiet harmony with the next.
Where the beauty lies in the imperfection and simplicity.
Nature is filled with spirits and poetry.

Each piece is produced through slow additivemanufacturing and finished by hand through careful paintstrokes.
The sculptures casts a soft, calming light through their organic, mysterious form.
When unlit, the scupltures have a matte ceramic-looking appearance.
Each piece is 3D-printed usingrecycled PLA and carefully hand-finished withpaint, which gives every object its own uniquecharacter.
I dont strive for perfection, but for natures organic expression.
